so, what’s fourthline anyway?
Before finding woodwork in 2021, I spent 20+ years playing and coaching competitive Ice Hockey. In that sport a ‘fourth liner’ is a player who survives on hard work and enthusiasm. They’re not the skillful superstar but their presence and passion is vital for success. So this is where the name was born and why it survives today. When I commenced working with timber and resin during Covid lockdowns, I had no skills and a steep learning curve that demanded belief and hardwork. I like to joke that I am a student of YouTube university as I completely self-taught. I knew I wasn’t the star, but I wanted to do my very best on every single project. These are the values that drive fourthlinewoodcraft every single day.
